Account Deletion Information

At BreatheFlow, we respect your privacy and your right to manage your data. If you decide that BreatheFlow is no longer for you, you can easily request to delete your account and all associated data.

Why Delete Your Account?

Users may choose to delete their account for various reasons, including:

  • No longer using the app
  • Starting fresh with a new account

How to Delete Your BreatheFlow Account

The process to request account deletion is straightforward and designed to ensure your data is handled securely. Please follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to Settings

Open the BreatheFlow app. From the main breathing screen, look for the "Settings" icon (⚙️) or tab. Tap on it to enter your app's settings.

Step 2: Access "Privacy & Data"

Within the Settings menu, you will find various options. Locate and tap on the "Privacy & Data" menu item. This section handles all your data-related preferences.

Step 3: Initiate Account Deletion

Inside "Privacy & Data", you will see the option "Delete Account". Tap on this button to proceed with your deletion request. You might be asked to confirm your intention.

Important: After initiating the request in the app, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address associated with your BreatheFlow account. This step is crucial for verifying your identity and ensuring the security of your account. You must click the link in this email to finalize your deletion request.

What Happens After Deletion?

Once your account deletion request is confirmed:

  • All your personal data, including your name, email, and user ID, will be permanently removed from our active databases.
  • Your breathing session history will be erased.
  • Any saved custom presets and achievements will be deleted.
  • Your access to BreatheFlow using that account will be terminated.

Please be aware that due to technical processes, it might take a few days for all data to be completely purged from our backup systems.
